I need help with this one
I'm losing my hair now and that is the pits. Dr. Jan says it will come back but then I talked with my hairdresser and she has a client who had the surgery and her's never did come back. Anyone out there with a success story?
Also, I am single and am being noticed by the opposite sex. It's great and all that but I am not into one night stands. Where is a good place to meet nice men? Anybody else going through the same thing? I want a sex life again, but am really hesitant about taking chances.
Thanks for any feedback
Nancy
Nancy - I'm sorry to hear about your hair. I'm dreading this possibly happening to me. I think it was Rebecca or someone who posted the other day and they had a picture of themselves in a wig. It looked FABULOUS! I've already decided that if I lose my hair I will wear one. Other than that, do an on-line search for hair restore products. I know some of them are supposed to really work.
As far as dating, that is really scary. I seem to be a "bum magnet", so I have no idea where you meet NICE men. I always wind up with the wrong sort, so I have been happily single for the past 20 years. I wish you lots of luck.

Hi Linda,
I remember seeing the picture of her in her wig and she told me she bought it from a store in Beaverton. When I asked her the name of the store, she didn't reply to me. By any chance do you know? I have decided I would buy a wig too if I need to. Went to my hairdresser today and she told me I can't afford to lose much hair and a pretty, quality wig is so important to me if I run in to this problem too.
Thanks Linda.

Hi Nancy,
I think the odds are in our favor that our hair will come back. This is the first story I have heard of someone that it didn't come back. There may have been other underlying medical problems that the hairdresser may not have been made aware of??
As far as meeting a nice man, that's what everyone wants to know believe me. I was single for 6 years when I met my David, actually online, when he offered to mentor me in the bible (I had reached out and asked for help online) he was then residing in California and I in Oregon. We grew close over time and he moved up here to Oregon this past May to be closer to me and my daughter. It was a complete surprise and I see now that it happens when we least expect it. I wasn't looking for a man at the time and then it all just happened. I know how it feels to want someone in your life and I'm afraid there just isn't an easy answer. I would suggest, however, getting active in the community OR going to social events perhaps away from the bar scene......it is a great way to meet people in general and who knows, Mr. Right may just be at one of those gatherings. It happens all the time.

So true, so true!!!
Ole & I met while both being in a wedding party. While the bride & groom stayed home on their wedding night, with their 1yr old daughter......the wedding party went out for dinner & dancing. Ole is a good dancer
I was living in Washington at the time, so nothing became of that evening, but we kept in touch. I returned 4 months later to spend my birthday with family & friends & we hooked up again.
1 month later...he was driving up to Washington to help me move back to Oregon!!
We've been married for 15 1/2 wonderful years
Love...happiness...a wonderful partner to share all your ups & downs....you can't go looking for it.
My advice, make friends with everyone...Mr Right just might be that friend.
Good luck!
