Surgery Postponed...

Hi Jackie, You will be so glad Dr. Umbach made this decision. I remember the day after surgery needing a breathing treatment so rest assured, he is truly looking out for your well being. I know it isn't easy but we all want you as healthy and ready as you can be. March 7 is not that far off. Darla

Darla, While driving to Florence (3 Rivers Casino) to have my Pitty Party, Ole & I were trying to come up with all the reasons as to why the wait is going to be a blessing. One thing I totally forgot.....buying some type of protein suppliment for when I get home from the hospital!!! I was so busy buying food for Ole's lunches, extra food that would be easy to make a meal or making the meals & freezing them...all for him & I totally spaced the protein for me! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???? I can't! I had 3 weeks to get ready for him....now I have another 3 weeks to get ready for ME!! Jackie

Jackie, I have been gone since Friday morning and just read about your surgery being postponed. I am so sorry, but know you realize he is right. You do not want to add anything that may have a chance to cause post-op problems. Get well first---3 weeks will go by fairly quickly. Easy for me to say huh!!! Julia

Jackie I am so sorry it was postponed. Mine was postponed at one time and I just wanted to scream at everyone. Instead I went to the car and cried - then thought, "oh I can still eat". Am I the only one thinking it was a few more days of eating my donuts? LOL Kathy

LOL.......that's why I went to Florence (casino) to have my "pitty party" & one of their awesome French Dips with Pepsi. Ok, party's over.....back to work Jackie
