Surgery Date!

I was beginning to think I'd never be one of those gals listing their upcoming surgery dates! Finally....March 30th! At OHSU with Dr. Deveny. I go 3/12 for pre op tests and meet with Dr. D. about the DS surgery! I am so full of hope now.....

I had mine done (assisted by Dr. Deveny) on Feb 7th..so far so good. Hardly in pain during my recovery!

Sorry Amy- my email filter put your reply into SPAM! How are you today? It's so cool to hear from one who's going/gone through what I am! Dr. D assisted- so does that mean others are now doing DS surgery at OHSU? Hope so! I really researched (almost 1 1/2 yrs. now) to get to know this surgery! Also- what are you ating- protein shake brand etc.

I'm actually just using what my husband bought for me the GNC protein. Not that great but will drink it until it's gone. I've been mixing it with banana's and some milk. Still not good but gotta do what you gotta do. My Doc is actually out of Hood River and he does the surgeries. he's worked with Dr. Deveny before and I think that's why he assisted. Not sure really just glad to have it all over with. Good luck with yours...when is your surgery date?
