Can it BE???????
Darla,
Boy is that great news. Hope I have the same outcome as you with the blood pressure meds (I'm on 4 of them). I am so happy to hear that things are going so well for you!
My PCP got records faxed up to OHSU Wednesday, so I am just waiting for a call from them to get an appt scheduled with the Nutritionist & Nurse Practitioner. After that happens, I can really feel like I'm on my way.
Take care,
Shirley
Well, hello Shirley. Nice to meet you!! I took a break away from the computer today so I'm just getting to this now.
Started my walking today, went 1/2 mile today, sat down 5 minutes later, took blood pressure and it was 122/77 can't beat that!!
I hope things fly by for you and that you are on the losers bench very, very soon.

You are so inspiring! I have been fighting my blood pressure lately. Before my surgery my dr. was ready to put me on meds. After surgery it was great until recently. I'm now monitoring it at home, and it's so up and down, I don't know how they would decide to put me on meds or not. But it's troubling to see it rising after losing nearly 45 lbs.
I have hope though. I'm glad you are off your meds!
I can appreciate you frustraition with the blood pressure teetering as it is. I expect mine might eventually do that a bit too but try not to get too upset yet OK? I think our bodies are in a bit of shock, perhaps from the rapid weight loss. I don't recall hearing of anyone going on the meds after surgery.....but maybe they have??
If this calmed mine down, I just dont see why it won't fix everyone. I had an extremely problematic blood pressure problem and my PCP is amazed at this point. She predicted 2 months but not 6 days.
Hang in there Kim. I think the odds are in your favor that it wil calm down. Maybe it's up from all the wedding bell excitement
We can hope can't we?
Darla

Could be some of that excitement. And just really busy at work. And dealing with my fiance's psycho ex. She is withholding his son just because she is mad at him (for a reason she refuses to share). Not following the parenting plan, and screaming and yelling at him all the time. Or avoiding answering the phone. All she is doing is hurting their son and spreading lies about his dad. AGH! Can you tell this gets me all wound up?? No wonder my blood pressure is up!
yes, that very well could be it. sorry to hear of the stress. It's so unfair when an EX does this to the children and upsets everyone...very selfish indeed.
Take care and try not to get too upset. Unfortunately, it is HER problem and that's what can raise our blood pressue when it's out of control.
Hang in there and try to remember to relax.
