Oh Darla! I'm so happy for you. That is the best thing about the weight loss if getting off all those meds and being healthy without them! Just the savings in medication in our old age will make it all worth while. My BP has been on the rise lately too and I'm anxious to have it back in the normal range. Linda

Blood pressure problems is a 4 letter word to me......I love it when anyone can bread away from the prisin is confins us to and the quality of live it threatens to tamper with. You are coming up soon for your surgery correct? I know you are working with Portland, have you been approved or given a time frame they hope to have you approved by? Wooo! the triple whammy! LOL I'm still waiting to pick up my medical records from my GP. I think they will be ready today. It was supposed to be last Friday, but apparently, the transcriptionist was sick. I think it will probably be a couple of weeks after I get my records up there before I have my consult with the NP and dietician. Then I need to get my approval and psych evaluation, so it could be a while. I'd love to have the surgery sometime late Feb, early March, as I am headed to the east coast in April and would like to be on my way to recovery by then. We'll see -- I may have to wait till I get back. At any rate, I'm a lot farther along in the process than I was before, so I'm happy! Linda
