My First Goal!!!!

Hi ! Well I went to my pre-op appointment with my surgeon and I was weighted!!!! 50 lbs off since I started September 20th 2006. I am so proud !!! I can't wait until my surgery now on February 12th. I start my liquid diet on the 29th. So then the pounds will start coming off also. I was so excited I went through my closet and started to chuck cloths. I can't wait until I can get into the cloths I have been saving for years. Well thank you for listening to me babble on. Lori M

WOW Lori!!! That is wonderful news and amazing that you have gone into your closet with that in mind! I had my surgery in 2003 and just emptied part of my closet that held my sizes 18 through 34. I still have quite a few left but I can't bring myself to get rid of all of them. In the back of my mind I am still scared that this isn't going to last. I have heard that this happens to many of us post-ops. Just a quirky mindset or strange view of ourselves. Again congrats!
