Darla is officially a LOSER!!!

I just spoke with Pam who has been at the hospital all day with Darla. She is doing very well. Surgery was just a little over an hour and went well. She is, of course, tired but has been sitting up a bit.

I saw Darla at about noon today. She had been up motoring around the hallways during the night and had waited a bit too long to take her pain meds, so they had given her some medication and she was pretty sleepy when I was there. She said she felt good though, and showed me her little bandaids! Hopefully, she'll be a lot perkier if you all stop to see her tonight. I didn't stay long so she could rest. Linda

Thanks for posting, Linda. I am so glad she is doing well. I will try to check on her tonight. My son has a play at his school at 6 so I am going to try and stop by afterwards.
