Glad you got the ball rolling! At first it sounds so far away, but it is very much worth a few logistics to make it happen. Like Kelly changing insurance coverage, or you changing locations, in the scheme of things if it makes it happen it is doable and worth it. I spent over two years spinning my wheels with Kaiser. When I made an insurance change I was in surgery in a few weeks! I had to work on letting go of my regret that I lost so much time - mostly because only I know how much physical and emotional pain I was in. Those extra weeks and months mattered to me. Good luck on your progress. Keep me in mind if I can help with any of the local logistics (even if it's passing time between appointments - I do lunch!) Patty

Linda, this is excellent. I'm so happy for you. Is she going to reguire you to loose some weight first? Nancy

Hi Nancy - yes, I will need to lose a little weight. They say to do that after the first meeting with the Nurse Practitioner and the Dietician though. She said for someone of my size, even 5 pounds would be good (since I'm a "lightweight" -- HAH! First time I've ever been called a lightweight!). I'm good at losing weight, I'm just not good at keeping it off. I say bring it on!! Linda
