Boots with heels

Well I found a pair of boots today, chocolate brown leather that I will wear tomorrow with a skirk I had kept from before. They have 2 1/4 inch heels and I hope I can walk o.k. in them. I did in the store and they seemed comfortable but I have only worn Crocs for the last three years, so my legs may complain. Anyway if you don't hear from me after tomorrow-------Check the hospitals!! My husband loves the shoes but isn't sure how I will balance on them. We shall see if I am insane or not. Julia

Thinking about you today Julia as I wobble around on my weak ankles! I hope you're comfortable in your new boots. They sound fun. Linda

I did o.k., didn't even think I was going to fall. My feet and knees were o.k. but I felt it in my hips and lower back. But darn they looked nice. i still think I am too short and fat to wear long skirts but everyone said it looked nice, after they got over the shock of seeing me in a skirt and heels. Julia

I love the look of boots with a skirt. I'm still need a pretty good reason to wear heals, but it was another option that came back to me when the weight came off. I found a pair of black knee high boots at DW Shoes that are actually VERY comfortable. Still, for every day wear I am hooked on my Nike "clog" tennis shoes. Patty

I agree, they won't be an every day thing here either, mostly I wear crocs, ugly but comfortable. Julia

I am looking forward to wearing boots with heels too ... maybe have to get some thigh-high ones, fish net stockings, and a whip!! ROFL

Ohhh, you dream better than me!! For now the, just below the knee boot, is a start!! I need to try to wear other shoes besides my crocs and work my legs into functioning with more fashionalbe shoes. Julia

How fun for you! I was just talking to someone about heals yesterday and I don't think I'll ever be able to wear them again. My ankles hurt too much from arthritis so I know it's a thing of the past but I'm soooo happy for those that can. I know I would if I could you better know it ~smile~ Darla

My knees may not tolerate them for long either, but yesterday they did not bother me much at all. The sane thing to do, of course, is not to wear them but who ever said we were sane Mostly I will wear my lower heel shoes. I will be saying a prayer for a quick surgery and recovery for you tomorrow. It will be done before you know it. Hope you get through tonights prep quickly!! I will try to call you at the hospital if I can. Julia

Ah Julia, you are so sweet. Thank you for thinking of me that way. I am the last surgery of the day and they say I won't get to my hospital room until between 4 & 5 PM so I don't expect I will be worth much that day I recon . Thursday, however, should be a better day so if you call me, unless I'm running laps around the hospital floor which is my goal, I will be there. Darla
