The breakfast was so much fun. I too, wish we could all sit together. Maybe those of you who live in Eugene/Springfield area can scout out other restraunts that have better arrangements. I don't live there so don't know the breakfast restraunts. I would love to come later too, as I left my house at 6:30 a.m. and drove through horrible fog to get there as did Jennifer. We have another lady from Sutherlin who will be there next month but had to work today. I can't come much later, however as I have my embroidery club on Garfield street in Eugene at 10 a.m. and need to be there by 9:45 or so to set-up, so need to head there about 9:30. Hey if Jennifer and I can get up and get there early you guys can too!!! Maybe 8:30 would help ya get a little more beauty rest??? I think most of us could have talked on and on today and then switched tables and talked some more. It was really great and I am very happy to have met you all in person. O.K. so go pick another restraunt with a big round table! Julia

This isn't the best restaurant in town but they do have a banquet room. Hometown Buffet at the Gateway Mall. Just seems like the wrong type of restaurant for this group. There is probably a better place. Bil

Yeh, the buffet is probably not good but the banquet room is the right idea. Julia

You're right Julia! I was soooo wanting to stay in bed yesterday and then I thought, "If Julia is driving all the way up from Roseburg, she had to get up a heck of a lot earlier than this!!" So, I hauled my sorry butt out of bed. I'm so glad I did. I'll try to check out a few places that might have better seating. Linda

Hi Julia, It was a blast and I'm trying to think of another place we could meet at well. Wondering about other places than a place to eat.......may not be possible because I sure can't think of any..... Hmmm, I'll have to think on that a bit but if it ends up a "food place" so be it. We have to face that in the real world anyway. Thanks again for all the effort you put in to making our first meeting happen. Darla

Yes, it was grrrrreat. What about lunch, after your sewing group? I don't really care. Hey, maybe, you could all come to my house and bring me breakfast in bed. Now, there's an idea! See you next month Nancy

Nancy, I could do a late lunch---or get together after my meeting. We get out at 2 p.m. Would that be too late for everyone? Then we could all sleep in, including me!! Julia

I would be able to try a late afternoon!! I just can't make the early mornings. I just don't sleep good enough to get up that early. Plus I would rather drive later on in the late morning. I have to drive about 17 miles from Detroit Lake. Let me know when you have these luncheons. Please Lori M

Would love to have you come. I am up for afternoons too. When I first mentioned the idea of breakfast, I didn't think about an afternoon. I drive about 75 miles to get to Eugene. I come up there the 3rd Saturday of each month for an embroidery club I go to and it is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and I usually go shopping afterwards. I do not know where Gates, Oregon is. Is it that close to Eugene? Julia
