Appt with Dr Moiel at Kaiser scheduled

I have my appt with Dr Moiel at Kaiser on 02/13/07. I know a lot of people have had there surgery done by him at Kaiser and I was just wondering what kind of experience you had and what can I expect. I have heard great things about him and just wanted to get some more info.... any complications? How was your after surgery follow up care? What kinds of things should I ask him at my appt? Was there questions you didn't think to ask before surgery that you wish you would have? My mind is going a thousand miles a minute and my fingers almost can't keep up. It seems so very unreal. I remember coming out to this web site for over a year and just reading the posts just like this one from people exactly where I am now and thinking how lucky they were. Now, It's me! It's my turn.... I am excited and kinda scared all at the same time. But I know it will be fine. I have the love and support of my family and friends. I have no idea about Kaiser or your dr. but I wanted to wish you the best as you go through this last month in preparation for surgery. It's an exciting time. And before long, you will be on the losers bench.

I don't have an appointment with him yet. I am having my surgery at Kaiser though so I hope you will keep us informed. I am also on the yahoo group for kaiser wls. I know several of the people there may be able to help you.
