I think we have a date set!

It looks like we have settled on July 7 for our wedding. It will be 07/07/07! Isn't that cool! AND it looks like we will be able to get married on our friend's yacht in the Columbia or the Willamette, and then we will go down to the riverfront and listen to the blues bands at the Blues Festival! Small and intimate with family and a few friends. I hope the weather will be nice! Anyone have any tips on how to figure out what size dress to get? I'm thinking I want something simple, so I'm hoping I don't have to order it and take months to get. Something along the lines of a nice evening gown or what you might see some bridesmaids wear. Not the formal wedding dress. I'm not even two months out yet, and down 32 lbs. By my calculations, I am hoping to be at or near my goal by June. I'm really worried about a dress. OMG! I'm getting married! I am SO in love! This is the BEST!!!

No way to tell, sorry. Any of those clothes work for you? I'm wondering if my height and yours are problematic. I guess not as much a problem as if little you were giving to tall me, lol. Congratulations! tee

Yes, Tee, most all worked! Thank you SO much! There is one pair of light colored pants that were still too small, but the rest fit. Some of the tops are on the big side, but I can use them for a while. I love the sueded green pants! They make me look slim. I will have to hem the off white pants, but that's ok.

Too Fun!!! Great date!! I'm afraid you're going to have to wait a while on the dress...may be you can talk to a seamstress. Maybe she can take a look at your build and give you some pointers on what size may work!?!?! I'm game for some SHOPPING!!!! Deanna

Kim, that is wonderful!!!! I'm so happy for you! Very difficult to tell on the dress....Really you are going to have to wait until you are much closer....sorry on that score, but since you want something simple I would have a seamstress make it. Trisha
