Hey Vicki, I don't know how I missed your surgery date. I'm a patient of Dr. Read as well from 2/2/05. Can't attend the Sat. support group because I work on Saturdays, but think the world of the staff and Dr. Read. How are you doing at 3 weeks out??? About time for some more solid food, huh? I've lost 146 lbs so far. I'm kind of a slow loser and also older with diabetes and hypothyroidism which kind of made my metabolism SUPER SLUGGISH!!! I must really exercise to lose--even with the WLS. It was the best decision I've ever made, Vicki--I have a life!!!!! So welcome to the club! Welcome Erick There are quite a few people from the Eugene area and a few from the Roseburg area too. We are having a first time get together breakfast on January 20, at Elmers at Gateway. well I guess I will have to see what I am doing come Jan. 30th. I just had my surgery on Dec. 27th from Dr. Gorrin. So am kinda looking for people that share the same experience I am going to have.
