I haven't checked in yet, but wanted to let you all know that I am home and everything is going pretty good. Had my surgery on the 13th, came home on the 15th and slowly feeling better. Right now I am trying to focus on getting enough liquids in. It's a struggle, but okay. I'm pretty tired and my energy level is low but I am so excited for my future! Haven't weighed yet, will probably wait and do that on my "official" scale at my post-op on the 26th. Talk to you all soon! Vicki

Hey Vicki Welcome to the losers bench! Glad to hear every thing went well! Hang in there and things will get a little easier when it comes to getting your liquids in. Try warm chicken broth, seemed to me it was a little easier to drink in the beginning. Stock up on the sugar free popcicles they count as liquid too. Darla

Congradulations vicki. My surgery was on the 13th too but I didnt get to come home till today because of a blood clock blocking the bottom of my stomach to the interest passage. I am better now and just trying to make sure I get my liquids. BUT IT WAS LIQUIDS THAT SAVE MY LIFE!!! Keep on drinking.

Sweet Home, huh? I really need to get down there and visit my two aunts. Ok, this isn't about me, after all. I just wanted to welcome you home and here's hoping the rest of your recovery is quick and uneventful! Lori

That's wonderful to hear. You are going to have such an exciting year ahead of you. Allow yourself lots of naps. Your energy will come back, but the first couple of weeks your body is in mending mode and needs lots of rest. And water of course!! Patty
