New to the board!

Thank you all for your responses! Sounds like many of you are on your way. How long does it generally take to get approval for surgery from your insurance company? I have Blue Cross coverage. Thank you all for your advice and input. Tammy

HI Tammy Once I finished everything that I needed to do it only took my insurance one week for approval. I have United Healthcare insurance. My whole journey started in September & my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Nancy

Hi, tammy I'm new to this board also. I'm working with oshu to get all needed appts done for my ins approval my next appts 12/26 for n/pract and nutritionist. I all ready done my phy eval. Does anyone know after your approved thru ins company how long is it good for before you have to have surgery? I have great west ins if that matters! How long did your prim phy eval you before setting you up to go to oshu? I keep struggling with to have or not to have surgery any advice on how or what made you decide, anyone.
