My First Real WOW Moment!!!

What a great day! I went to see Dr. Gorrin today for my 2 week postop check and I am now down 30 pounds since coming home from the hospital. Yeah Buddy!! Several weeks before surgery, I bought a top in my usual size and was upset to find that it didn't fit. I could not get it over my hips. This morning, I thought I'd try it and see if it would fit now and OMG, not only did it fit but it is even loose. How exciting.

Congratulation Kim. Isn't it great. Be sure to wear it a lot as another 2 or 3 weeks it will be too big. Julia

I hear that! I think I will be visiting thrift stores this weekend or next to get some smaller clothes to shrink into. LOL.

Kim, Value village isn't bad. I found a few things there. Also K-mart and BiMart have some cheaper close that work for a while. I find my jeans at Bimart, on sale right now for $9.99 a pair. Got them the day after Thanksgiving for $7.99. They are elastic waist pull-ups but I like that right now. Good luck on finding clothes. Julia

Well Kim, how did the shopping go? Find anything at Value Village? Sometimes I do and sometimes not. Last time I was there I found 4 blouses. Bought some pants at K-Mart and even though I did not lose much weight in November and only 1 pound this last week, they are beginning to fit looser. Too bad huh. Julia
