Does anyone have a recommendation for a Dr. or social worker who can do my psych consult? My Dr. is out of Coos Bay and the closest Psych they recommended was in Vancouver. I'm in the Portland area. Thanks! Jennifer

I saw Dr. Scott Losk. He was thorough and only took a little over an hour. I can't remember how much it cost but somewhere in the $150 range I think. I got a comprehensive 3 page report for my doctor. Here is his information. Losk Scott N 2701 NW Vaughn Portland, OR 97210 - 5311 (503) 254-2533

Hi Kim, Is that his home phone #? I called and the person on the other line hung up as soon as it was answered, and a google search listed the number as residential. BTW, I have not been reading the boards much until the past week and noticed that you had your surgery! I hope everything is healing well and you are feeling good! Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, I took the number by cut and paste so I don't know what's up with that. He usually has an answering machine and his assistant calls back to make the appt. She takes the calls at her home, I think it rings there. I'm doing really well. I'm down 20 lbs. as of yesterday. Didn't get on the scale today. My incisions are all healed up and not very noticeable. I think the scars will fade nicely. Tonight is our company Christmas party and I'm wearing a dress I haven't worn since 2000. It's still a bit tight, but I'm happy to get into it. Hope you are doing well!

Hi, I had my psych with Scott Pengelly in Eugene. He has a therapist working in his office by the name of Rita Van Dyke and she did the initial workup and gave me a bunch of tests. Then I went back to see Dr Pengelly and we discussed all the test results, what they meant, and then discussed the surgery. Got a nice comprehensive report for the surgeon. Very nice people and very encouraging about weight loss surgery. Kathy
