4 days post op and you won't believe!

Yesterday, day 3 post-op, I went to a show on the Las Vegas strip. Walked around and got some dinner (soup) with my sister-in-law. Today, we took in the whole strip by monorail, stopping at 5 different casinos and seeing another show. I swear I walked at least 5 miles. Maybe more. I can't believe I can do this! Today is a day like I would have planned before my surgery! No pain, no problem getting my fluids and protein in, no nausea or vomitting. I think I'm living the fairytale gastric bypass surgery. Quick, someone knock on wood for me!

Kim, I'm a-knockin"!!!! I knew this would be easy for you. I am so glad to hear that you're doing so good! Don't have too much fun, okay? Oh! Since your luck has been so good in the surgery department, do you think you should try to win a few bucks? Luck seems to be on your side right now. When are you coming home? Joy

I think my gambling luck rubbed off on my sister-in-law. We sat down at a penny machine, and within 5 minutes she won $150. LOL! I'm coming home tomorrow afternoon. It's been a long week here, and I'm ready to get back home. Today is rest. Rest, rest, rest. Ahhhh....
