I'm back at the hotel room

One day post op and I just got off the treadmill for 20 minutes! I feel like I was kicked in the gut, but I am amazed at how good I feel. That sounds weird, but I'm sure those of you who have been here understand. I guess I am doing really well, according to my dr. I took one last pain shot before I left. It's wore off by now but I'm doing well. It hurts a bit to burp. I have lots of gas coming out both ends (sorry if that is TMI), and the walking really seems to help it. I am just amazed that yesterday morning I was having this surgery and now I'm here at the hotel writing to all of you. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers! It really got me through! wow kim that is so great! I am so happy for you. when do you expect to be back at home? wish we were all closerwould love to hang with all the ladys more and besides I need a walking partner.

WOW! Kim I am so glad you are bouncing back so quickly! I am two weeks out and still have to take it a bit easy. I can't believe you walked 20 min. on the tread mill the day after surgery! I hope to see you at group in Dec. Odetta
