Lost total of 55lbs pre op so far

Hello I was so worried about going to the doctor today and it turned out to be ok after all. I have lost a total of 55 lbs!!! They won't reffer me for surgery yet because they want my bmi under 60 first. So they want to see me "one more time" is what they said. I have to go back to see them in the beginning of January. Sucks..... but I will take it! I have to get down about another 15 lbs. I can SO do that! I think today was the first time I wanted to go to the doctor just see how much I weighed. When that scale poped up with 456 I almost cried. I started this journey at 511 lbs. Anyways, that was all. Hope everybody is having a good day. I took the entire day off work today so I have lots of things to do. You know how it is... when you get a day off you try to fit everything into one day. Bye.. Sarah

Sarah, what a great start. Wow, I am so impressed. I was told to lose weight before surgery or else the date would be cancelled. I managed to take 10 pounds off. I can't imagine taking off 55 pounds and only 15 more to go. Bet you feel a difference already. Imagine what it will be like with the rest of it off! Congratulations! Way to Go! Good Job! you what that is great. I hope you keep it up. My surgery date is for Dec 13th. I have already lost 33 pounds so far. I was told I would have to loose as much as I can and keep it off. If I gain even 1 pound from my last weigh in my date would be canceled Great job kat

WOW, that is awesome, I thought losing 7 pounds the week before my surgery was good, but you put me to shame. Way to go, your surgery date will be here before you know it. Don't get discouraged, keep up the good work!
