Update

I just wanted to let everyone know how much better I am doing! Tomorrow will be 2 weeks out and I am down 21 pounds! The first 3 days out went soooo slow, but now every day flies by! I started pureed food on Monday. I called Kelly because I could not go another day on liquids. She said it was ok for me to move on. I am much happier! I am so excited. I have been out walking and I found out that my mother-in-law is giving me her tread mill!! Thanks for listening. Odetta

Great to hear Odetta, glad that things are going well. Refried beans are great on the pureed part of the diet. Are you eating your protein shakes?? I drank two of them for about 2 months. I drink one every once in a while now if I don't get a lot of protein in during the day. It gets better and better everyday. I will keep you in my prayers. Sonya

Congrats Odetta! Yesterday was my one week and I am down 15 pounds! I am still sore but every day gets a little easier. I'm finding boredom in the liquids but my two weeks will be up on Thanksgiving so I think I can hold out a little longer and maybe enjoy some mashed potatoes on the big day. The thought is what keeps me hanging in there. I'm out walking too, at least when the weather cooperates and my husband just suggested a stationary bike with the moving handlebars. I think I will take him up on the offer. Again Congrats Odetta, you are doing good! Kathy W :0)
