Anyone had Dr. Deveny do their surgery?

I am new here and am presently getting all the tests done for DS surgery. No date set yet and am having Dr. Devney in Portland do surgery. Anyone out there had him do their surgery?I'd like to hear from ones that had him do their surgery and any advice while I am waiting! Thanks!

I had Dr. Deveney. As a surgeon he is awesome. He is very informative if you ask questions, the trick is, you have to ask them. He is not overly personable, more of your typical straightforward surgical expert. Not a hand holder if you know what I mean. The nurses say if you butter him up, he is quite friendly.
