I need friends!!!!

I know this sounds pathetic but i need friends.... Im 28, married and work for the state. I dont drink, i quit smoking, i dont have kids yet... These things make it hard to find friends.... Im a bit geekish in that i love to go to the arcade and play pinball and table hockey, watch movies, be out in the woods and just hang out. I also go to cascade athletic club at mall 205 here in Portland. I just want some buddies to hang out with, preferably close to my age and with similar interests. Im a talker and can be a goof. However i have never been big on the bar scene, though i do love to dance. My husband wont dance and frankly i just want some girlfriends to look at clothes with maybe go thrift storing, walking even at the mall if we have to. Its really sad that you never make friends again like you do in high school... Well i have had a hard time anyhow, and since im half a country away from them, im kinda lonely. I am starting to want to get out and get together with people who dont just want to go get plastered, and while i love my husband, i want some other human connection.....
