Co-morbidity is defined as two or more medical conditions that occur at the same time.

Things that come to mind are diabetes, sleep apnea (sp?), high blood pressure, joint disease, etc. Conditions that threaten your health and are caused or made worse by obesity. I am already forgetting the details of qualifying (during the approval phase I knew it all!) but for Kaiser one thing they required was a BMI above 40 I think. I'm glad you have gotten paperwork and are starting the process for that approval I know you are going to get! Patty
