Emma Patterson patients, please...

Hi there, I've recently found Emma Patterson as a potential surgeon for me, and I'd like to know how things went for you if you were a patient of hers. Any complications? Any problems? Thanks so much, Anne

Hi Anne, My name is Melony I had surgery with Emma on Sept. 11th. Everything went really well. The Obesity Clinic she works with is great also. I don't know if you have been there yet. Everyone at both places are fabulous. I had Lap-Band. I don't know what you are having. I did not have any complications or any other problems. The only thing I did have is gas after surgery. Hi Anne, I am a current patient of Dr. Emma Patterson. I started with the Obesity Clinic and chose her as my surgeon (they have few in the office). My insurance requires me to see a Nutrionist for six months (Nov 3rd is my six month!!!) so I am hoping to have surgery (bypass) in December. Dr Patterson's clinic is recognized as 1 of (I believe 6) centers of excellene in the US. I feel very comfortable with her experience and track record. Hello there..I am a patient at the oregon weight loss clinic, and then off to the surgery center. The clinic does all of the weight loss pre-op appts., then they go to Patterson's office. It is a very thourough process. I can tell you that many people have good things to say....I do as well, however if you want Dr. Patterson, expect a LONG wait. She has other surgeons in her office. I am self pay, and I can say that even without an insurance company to haggle with, it is a tough process. My surgery is tomorrow. Good Luck. Stay away from their new psychologist, Dr. Staffelbach..request someone else!!!

I wanted to go with Dr. Patterson, but she was out of town the month of Oct. I did not to wait any longer. My insurance made me wait the 6 months. So I am going with Dr. Hong. He has about a two week waiting time. I do not have a date yet. I am expecting a call any day with my date!! I started this process the end of March...and here I am almost to my surgery date!
