Lap band for $10,000

I had my two year appointment today and the North Bend bariatric Clinic is still running the special for the lap band for $10,000. Hi, I had my Lap Band surgery on 7/14/06 and so far everything is going as planned. Dr. Tersgini did my surgery and was very proffesional as was his staff which is very important in my book. The day surgery clinic was very clean and the staff there too was caring and professional as well. I had a very good experience with the whole process. At first I was concerned because it was not at a hospital and I would be discharged that day. But that was not a problem, I was grateful to have not checked into a hospital like my sister did and was grateful to go to a near by motel for the night as I live out of town. Once I made my decision to have the surgery, it was about 3 weeks and it was done, however I did not have insurance to contend with. All I did was find a visa card that had a very low or no interest rate and away I went. I had my first fill 6 weeks later and that took about 15 minutes. I will have my next fill next month of which I am looking forward too. The one thing I had to remind myself over and over is that the weight reduction is a slow process, but that is ok too, at least I am not gaining weight. My weight loss at 6 weeks was 23 lbs. before my fill. Having said all of this, I highly recommend Dr. Tersgni and his staff. I would do it all over again.
