Need help selecting a surgeon

There is so much great information on the OH forums that nearly all of my questions have been answered by members. However, I need additional help in selecting where to have my LapBand surgery. I live 20 miles west of Salem, so none of the facilities are "local" for me. I have ruled out OHSU and am considering Northwest Bariatric in Coos Bay...then again, there are facilities in Eugene and Portland too. UGH! This is such an important decision and a difficult one to make. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know why you ruled out OHSU but I can tell you that their competence is above reproach. Excellent surgeons. tee

Have you check out the Samaritan Bariatric Program in Corvallis? Dr Read is wonderful along with all of his staff. Darla
