Salem Support Group Meeting ...

Hello everyone! I just wanted to remind you that there is a Support Group meeting in the basement of the Salem Hospital this Wednesday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come, whether you are pre-op or post op and no matter what type of surgery you may have had. Hi Dina!! Holy cow!! You are about to be a member of the 100 club! I remember the months leading up to your surgery. It goes so fast doesn't it. I was just thinking about Christmas (it is less than 100 days away!) you are going to wear some fabulous outfit to some party...I know you are! My first Christmas instead of dreading my husband's work party I had so much fun picking out a new outfit. I'm so glad you are doing so well! Patty

Hi Patty! You are so sweet to check in on me! I can't even believe it's been 4 months since my surgery. The time just flies! And I'm so excited to be buying new clothes ... I think I'm going to be addicted to shopping! It never ceases to amaze me that I will look at an article of clothing on a hanger and think "there is NO way that is gonna fit me!" And then I try it on and it fits. That just floors me! But I love it! Thanks again for writing me a note! It means a lot! Deanna

I am pre op and wanting to attend the meeting tonight. Can you tell me how long they usually last? I just need to plan it out around my family's schedule. Thanks, Leslie

Hi Leslie! The meeting starts at 7:00 and runs for an hour or two, depending on how many people are there and how much we are talking. We have the room reserved from 7:00 until 9:00 just in case we get chatty! But you can leave at whatever time you need to ... it's very informal so no one will mind! Hope to see you there! Deanna
