Kelly, I'm so glad you came! I don't think that you are corny at all...because that is just how I felt too. You are just adorable! I am confident you are going to see this through, and I will enjoy watching your progress (and be cheering you on!). I am convinced that Tee and Trisha have been sipping from the fountain of youth. Trisha has changed her hair-do and lost more weight, and I hesitated when she came in. Trisha you are glowing (and it's not from all those hot peppers you were working with yesterday). It's funny how during the process there are certain points where your look alters once again. Tee, I'm kidding, but your making me wish my thyroid would act up. You look great! I am also glad Greg joined us. I think breakfast was a real easy thing - let's do it again soon! Patty

I wish this thing had spell check for give my bad spelling yes lets do it soon. I came home with migrane today and once I got it under control I did a bit of research on the Tricare thing,, I was on line for 2 hours. yes it is covered with but there would have to be some kind of approval. so yes it's covered but maybe not.. geeze!!!!!!! its a huge financial jump for my familys budget of more than 200.00 per month above what my husbands employer charges us for insurance. and that 2400.00 would be worth it if its covered. I have to make a one year commintment to the insurance so its not like I can back out if I cant get the surgery,, Maybe Im over thinking things? I am so hurt that Al's employeer would discriminate against obese people and choose to have us not get the medical coverage we need. I bet they would not do that to someone with Diabetes!!! make it so there is no coverage for people who for what ever reason needed cancer treatment. I guess becouse I am fat they feel that I must have caused this myself and dont deserve to have what I need to be healthy.. any way im grumbling im such a poop. I had a great time,,,

wrong, dahlink! I sent you the new transmittal about morbid obesity surgery (transmittal #95, August 30, 2006) Obviously, you did not receive it. here it is: (note, it says CHAMPVA and Tricare in the upper right corner) http://www.va.gov/hac/forbeneficiaries/champva/policymanual/cvapmchap2/1c2s29.15.pdf tee

Well, thank you for the compliment!!! That was the hair-do of the day LOL. I seem to change it all the time. I really didn't think I had changed that much in the last few months, but I must have some because everything I purchasing is a medium petite. How fun!! You look wonderful too Patty. Stress must have "some" bennefits LOL {{{{hugs}}}} Trisha

That Greg---he just loves women. He had a great time and you all made him feel totally comfortable. Thanks for that. Patty, you look great. What the heck are you talking about your thyroid for? You don't have a fat neck like mine. Jeepers! Seems breakfast works best for everyone. Anytime.......... xoxoxo tee

Kelly, It was WONDERFUL meeting you. You are right, breakfast was soooo easy. Yes I DID get back and can 12 pints of applesauce and 19 pints of Salsa Verde. Today I am finishing up on 27 pints of regular salsa. Geez, my neck and back hurt from all the standing and chopping, but I couldn't have done it 2 years ago..... Kelly, even though Tricare has an approval process, you should easily meet the standards so I'd go for it. Get the procedure manual like Tee said if you are unsure. I'd do it in a heart beat if I could....would love to have my PS covered...*sigh* We WILL get together again soon and you WILL have the surgery. There is ALWAYS a way! Trisha
