Help!!!!! I am scheduled for a paniculectomy with Dr. Tersigni on Nov. 2 2006. He is in coos bay oregon. And he is the same surgeon who did my gastric bypass, which he did awesome on! My concern is that my stupid insurance finally ok'd getting the piece of garbage off the front of me. ( I had to allow a rash to grow??? For them to say it was medically necessary. I always keep the rash at bay. It tooks forever to finally get one. ewwww) My back is the reason I want this sucker off. However, I am very scared of someone other then a plastic surgeon doing this. 1. Has anyone had Dr. T do their paniculectomy? If so, how do you feel about it now? 2. I would like to see pictures of people who had it done by a general surgeon and not a plastic surgeon. So are the pages here that show that. One of these days I will get pictures on the website. Because it is just horrid! No one can believe how ugly and awful it is until they lose the weight after 20+ years of carrying it. So pllllease send info or pages or whatever to me at [email protected] ASAP Thanks Everyone

I had a panni by a general surgeon that I will need to have repaired by a plastics specialist. I would rather have had only one by having a plastic surgeon do it right the first time. tee
