WOW moment
I haven't posted in a while, but I have had a WOW moment. I started (joined) a TOPS group before I decided to have the surgery. What a wonderful, wonderful support base. But this has allowed me to weigh in just once a week, on Wednesday. I don't own a scale that works, so this keeps me from jumpin on and off. I had surgery June 20. I started my journey at 297 lbs and on Wednesday at TOPS I hit the 249....mark. It seems like I stayed in the 250's forever.....
I was so happy, I jumped up and down and almost cried. This is a wonderful journey (altho not easy), that we are on.

Awww Terri, good for you!! This is an amazing journey that we are on. There seems to be something new around every corner. Weight is such a funny thing. some weeks we drop a chunk then go for what seems like forever before we drop again. Also I didn't lose evenily. So my you look distorted at times, like a fun house mirror, still I would have this again in a heart beat--with or withour PS.
keep up the good work
Trisha

Terri! I am so happy for you. And I have to apologize again for slacking on getting those clothes to you. I have no good excuse...the clothes are still in a bag next to the laptop I've been meaning to ship out to my mom for almost 2 months now.
You're not the only one I've been slacking on lately.

Terri,
As your friend and surgery partner (terri and i had surgery on the same day with the same doctor at the same hospital) I just wanted to say how proud of you I am. I of course am jealous because you manage to lose something, at least a pound every week. Unlike me who has to go 3 weeks without losing an oz. I love ya and am so happy we are on this journey together.
