Thanks, guys!

I am totally overwhelmed by the messages of support and concern. I'm struggling with my energy levels due to the thyroid levels being wonky right now. Up, down, up, down. A real pepper-upper has been learning that the policy on my insurance has changed in 2006 regarding plastics since I last checked. This year they started allowing plastics for those with WLS. And, I can go anywhere in the USA to have it done. I think Hawaii would be a nice place to recover. No more stray cats, though. Hard to get excited about just now, but hard not to be (in a brain foggy sort of way) I might turn into that babe who has so much plastic surgery in order to look like Barbie. Saw her on Oprah. Anyone agree that she has a huge knot of loose skin tied on top of her head under that "I Dream of Jeannie" wig/pony tail? Just a thought. Anyway, thanks to you all. We LIKE YOU!!!! It's so good to hear from you. I have been thinking about you, wondering how your recovery has been going. WOW!! Looks like you will get your plastic surgery after all. Congrats!!!! Joe and I are having a hard time right now. I guess, unless someone is a pet lover, it might be hard to understand. We had to put down our cat, Abby, today. It was one of the most difficult decisions we have had to make. She developed bone cancer in her jaw and couldn't eat or drink. We have been force feeding her, but decided she was suffering too much. We buried her in the backyard today. She was our baby and we will miss her terribly. Anyway, I hope we will find a time to get together when you are healed and ready for adventure! I am so sorry. I lost Felix, my partner in parenting in 2000 after he stuck with me for 18 years. We know have four furballs and I never thought I'd bother again. So, we got Cleo, Annie and Zoe. And then, there was Hawaii. Check out the Cat Team near you when you are ready. (you can't leave with just one!) In the meantime, they are a good way to get a fix until you are ready to committ. xoxooxoxo tee

Joy, I'm so sorry to hear you had to have your cat put down. Yes, pets are like our children. My little ****er spaniel (who truely was my child..) is burried in Tigard under the dogwood tree in the back yard there. She was born the day I moved to Anchorage Alaska and I had her for 16 years. Well, I recommend makimg a scrap book of memories. It will be cathartic. On a different subject....do you want some green beans and tomatoes? They are coming out my ears--which looks kinda funny!!! Trisha!Thanks for the support and the great idea. This has been especially hard for Joe, just losing his father. I told you about your generous offer of beans and tomatoes. LOL Joe planted a wonderful garden this year. Would you like some of our beans and tomatoes? How about some lemon cukes, carrots, zucchini or fresh herbs???? Apples, figs, only one pear that emerged??? He's busy setting up grape vines and a support for his Passion Fruit. The man is obssessed! I'd love to get together on Wednesday. Just say where and when. I LUVS YOU!!!! I like the news about insurance changing coverage! I'd better check mine out - I never had any hope to even bother asking them. Sounds like a bit of up and then some down. The down times are all part of it. I tried to enjoy the time cause I don't normally have any, and allow for rest. Can you believe the housing market since I put my house up for sale?!?! Nada! Not even a looker for about six weeks! My kids are starting their new schools on the premise the house will sell some day SOON! I'm getting discouraged (and having trouble keeping up the "it could be shown any moment" standards of housecleaning) but I am trying to keep my cool and believe it will happen. We really want to move! My patient really rounded the bend yesterday and started to seem his old self. Still getting preferential treatment (begrudingly so by his sisters at this point) but I am hanging up my nurse mother hat VERY SOON! Was I clenching my teeth as I said that? I didn't mean to! Continue to mend so we can hook up and catch up! Patty

I do consults for people all the time on the small jobs that make a big impact to a buyer. Trust me, people get more than hey invest when they sell. i jut sold my kids townhouse....twice! First folks had trouble with financing and i'm waiting to hear back from the second folks. The problems is your agent when no one comes to see it. The problem is the house when lots come see it and no offers appear. Sometimes it's a combination of both. Anytime you want............... tee

The thing is, the only real improvement is that you are now aware of how lovely and sexy you are (and always were!) Oh, and just in case you think that is just opinion. think again, missy!
