Legacy Good Samaritan or Emmanuel?

I'm confused... Are these two different hospitals? I had my orientation with Dr. Hong, who I believe does the WLS at Good Samaritan. I work for the state and Regency Blue Cross Blue Shield is the insurance. I'm under the impression that we can only get our surgury done at a hospital of Excellence which Good Samaritan is considered. Diane

Dr. Hong (and Drs. Patton and Jan) only do them at Good Sam. And, yes, Good Sam and Emmanuel are both in the Legacy Health System. They're two totally different hospitals in two different locations (they're actually pretty close to each other but still about five miles apart -- and across a big river). I had Dr. Jan and he is incredible! Lori
