My surgery was scheduled for this coming Tuesday (8th) but my doctor had an emergecny so they had to reschedule me for Sept. (5th). I am a little depressed because I was so excited to start my new life on the 8th and now I have to wait almost another month. September is going to be a crazy month for me. Surgery, then getting back to work after I am healed and feeling better, my son's third birthday, starting school back up for the Fall term. What else is there I can add to my schedule? LOL. I guess patience is a virtue that I need and maybe this is one way of getting it. Thanks for listening to me.

I'm sorry to hear that you are being delayed, but things DO have a way of working out for the best. I've always thought of Sept as the month of new beginings. It was always the start of school and for me a time of renewal. I hope the same will be true for you. {{{{hugs}}}} Pat (Trisha)

Sorry to hear about you delay----I understand your being bummed out and all, but Septembers a great month. The leaves start to changed colors, the weather cools down, and best of all I was born in September. Best of luck with you Septment surgery date.

Phooey!! My surgery date was delayed five weeks because of insurance coverage...it seemed like forever! Despite my impatience, with kids in the house the time flies just cause family life is so busy. Wtih a two year old keeping you running it will be here before you know it. You will do what you are able, and modify what you have to. Three year olds are pretty happy with just about anything. I was so happy to be recovering from this surgery that me the "I have to do everything" girl, happily hobbled around and sat some stuff out and let my husband and kids make do. The good news is you will be feeling really good by Christmas. Some people think this surgery "ruins" Thanksgiving, but I feel like my first Thanksgiving was one of my best ever. I was only able to eat a dab, but as you say, I was starting my new life. Good luck with your surgery. Patty
