Plastic Surgeons

Hi everyone! I am almost 2 years post op and am ready for plastic surgery. Mainly just the extra skin on my stomach, the rest I can deal with! Does anyone have any recommendations for plastic surgeons in the Portland area? Thanks, Chrissy 283/147

I looked high and low but did not find a surgeon in the Portland area that I felt would give me the results I wanted and needed. I ended up using Dr. Egrari out of Seattle (Bellevue). He was fantastic - and I can give you more info if you want it. Just be prepared to pay out of pocket. Most insurance companies will not cover any of the skin removal. kb

Hi there, Even though you are in Portland, I would recommend Dr. Edwin Austin in Salem. He is wonderful. I had bilateral breast reductions two years ago by him. He was very professional and nice as well. He came highly recommended to me by numerous physicians in the area, as well as a personal recommendation by a friend who is an anesthesiologist who works directly with him. The surgery went far better than I could have expected and I was back to normal very quickly. I fully intend to go back to him after I have my WLS. Fran PS congrats on your weight loss!
