I GOT A DATE!!!!!!!!!!

Three years of struggle and finally I have a date. I am having Lap RNY at OHSU on Aug 1st. I can't believe it. It doesnt seem real at this point. I am so happy but the fear is also setting in. Please pray for me!

Congratulations! Take a deep breath....it's going to be great! When the nerves start getting to you, remember all the things that kept you going towards approval. Rely on the information and reasons you decided to get surgery, not the little mad butterfies flying around in your head and stomach! Ignore them and go forward - you won't regret it. Patty

Congrats Holly! I'll be thinking about you. Let us know how you are doing afterwards -- can't wait to see the new you. I do have one question for you if you don't mind. I am going through the process at OHSU right now (doing all of my testing prior to insurance submission) and was curious if you would be willing to tell me about how everything went using them and who your surgeon was. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I am feeling better about everything. I am on the pre-op diet which is going well. My pre-op appointment is July 24th. I am looking forward to meeting my surgeon. I just hope all my tests come out good so my date wont get pushed back. I am so ready to be on the losing side. I wanna be a loser!!!!!
