Hi, I am thinking about you guys, looking forward to support group, I have good days and bad days. Even though I have no complications there are just days eating is impossible. I do worry about liquids. Not being able to dring anythng but sips is truely the most frustrating thing. I love my water and milk but sipping is a pain with no satisfaction of thirst. But I am back in the pool and that is the miracle. I even swam a few strokes last night. A very slow dog paddle. My lymphedemic leg is retracting, and who knows how far it can go, if this is as good as it gets I'm okay with that, it can just wait till the rest of my skin catches up, it will all be sagging soon. See you soon, michel

Hey, Michel!!!!! It's good to see you here. Yes, it can be tough at the beginning, but I promise it will get better soon. I'm surprised you haven't had "buyers remorse". Many of us have in the first few weeks. Your body has been through a major operation. Take it slow and easy and you'll do great! Little by little, you will be able to handle more liquids. Just keep a-sippin'! Can't wait to see you at the next meeting! Joy

Hey Michel--I sooooooooo proud of you. You are doing awesome--way to go! I just wanted to mention that I bought some water bottle at costco with the oz marked on the side. They have been terrific in reminding me how much H2O intake I've had for the day. Just thought this might be a helpful tool (if you don't already have one) for you since your only able to take sips. Good luck on your new journey to a smaller you!
