Hi all OH'ers After months on this board and planning for WLS. I have found out I have colon cancer. So this at the very least will set my surgery back. I'm 52 and just had my first colonoscopy. If I had done this two years ago maybe this would have caught sooner. It is important to have this done! Please if you are fifty and haven't done this please make an appointment. Thanks, Bev

Bev, I am so sorry to hear that you are having difficulties. Yes, I wish they had found it earlier, but at least they found it now. I will keep positive vibes sent your way for a successful recovery. I had my first colonoscopy just before my surgery. It may be a little uncomfortable, but so worth it. Thanks for reminding us of the importance of having this test done. Keep the faith. I hope you will get past this and have your surgery soon. Joy

Glad that you found out about your Colon cancer--I hope you caught it in time. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I've been talking to some people at work about taking some herbs to cleanse your colon. I've been putting it off, but thanks to your post I think I'll start getting a little more serious about it. Thanks for the post and sorry again about your find--believe in god and I sure he will help guide you through this new journey.
