Nancy - Congrats on your upcoming surgery date! As for the good and bad, boy - there is too much to share. What I would recommend you do is go through all the profiles of the folks you see here on OH and get a feel from their journeys. That and just posting here on the board will answer specifics you have questions about. Don't forget local support groups as well. That is an invaluable source of information! Dina
