Wondering what people paid per week of optifast. I've got a few weeks to get it but if I can find somewhere that has it much cheaper than here, that'd be optimal.
Yes the week went pretty quickly,,, Friday is around the corner. Tonight is a gym night with my trainer so we'll see what he has in store... usually a new challenge each week.
B - protein shake
S - boiled egg
L - shrimp & sauce, apple

Good afternoon :)
I was up and out early for blood work this morning. They ended up having to use both arms, so that's always fun ;) lol
Otherwise it's just house chores today... DH started a new job yesterday and I'm hoping he really likes it. He is away in the evening four days a week which is going to be an adjustment.

Hey all
Well my trainer called to cancel yesterday because he was under the weather but I went and did a workout anyway. It worked out well because I could watch the hockey game from the bike. Tonight I think I'm just going to chill since I haven't been home for an evening for awhile. I will likely hop on my cycle while I'm watching some tv.
B - protein shake
S - boiled egg
L - shrimp & dip, fudgesicle (craving something chocolate)
S - roasted red pepper hummus & sweet potato crackers
D - maybe stew if I throw it in my instant pot when i get home.
S - greek yogurt
Good morning Menu Peeps. Well we lost our hockey game last night in a shoot out. So not too bad but still disappointing.
This morning I didn't wake up until 6:10.....20 minutes late. I just wanted to stay curled up in my bed but felt guilty so I dragged myself up and out to the gym. Probably just as well because my co-worker can't walk at lunch today so at least I've already reached my step goal for the day.
GF - 1/2 banana w. PB
AGF - premier protein
B - 1/2 bagel with egg and cheese
L - spinach salad with chicken, blueberries, raspberries and cranberry cinnamon goat cheese - poppyseed dressing
S - probably won't need one
D - cheddar bacon chicken griller, garden salad
Have a great day!
Howdy Gang! Almost home time....was such a nice day today got out for a good long walk at lunch. It was a little windy but at least the sun was shining.
I didn't sleep worth a toot last night. I swear I have the smallest bladder in the world. I was literally up every 1/2 hour to go pee! Better not be that way tonight - I need my sleep.
I have to play ball hockey tonight at 730...that's quite a workout but adds to my step count so I guess it's okay. What was I thinking when I signed up for that?
Today was an odd food day.....I just wasn't in the mood for prep.
B - frosted flakes (do not copy me!!)
S - grapefruit
L - 1/2 turkey wrap
S - raspberries
D - pot roast and maybe a salad - but the pot roast is so yummy I could just my fill of that to bring up my protein levels.
S - maybe a premier protein after the hockey game
I'm surprised they didn't start you on them pre-surgery. I have been on them now since my appointment with the dietician and will be on them for life.

I look at it as "things happen for a reason."
But ... having said that and having completed most of my appointments, I am finally getting anxious. I take it as a sign that I am mentally ready for this journey.
Good luck!

Good afternoon :)
Just getting here as we ran a ton of errands today. The little nugget was sick and then I got sick and then she got sick again and then DH got sick... So our eating has been pretty miserable around here.
Tomorrow I get to go to a gestational diabetes class since I can't take the glucose sensitivity test (thankfully I don't have GD and didn't have it last time). I will be followed by an internist and the nurses at the clinic to make sure my blood sugars stay within normal ranges :)
