Good morning :)
I think it struck me last night that I hadn't even looked in on here last week at all... The little nugget had a fever last weekend and she is still getting over the effects.
Today I'm going out for lunch with my MIL, SIL, and two of my MILs employees. DH is going to stay home with the little nugget -- they don't usually hang out that long so I would love to be a fly on the wall ;)
Post-op four years and eight months.

Good morning all,
I hope everyone is well and staying snug on this chilly morning. I had a check-in with my nurse practitioner to review my 1 year blood work and all my levels are in the normal range plus my blood pressure was 120/80 on the nose! That's pretty crazy since I've been off all my medication for 6 months.
Hopefully it's a quiet workday so I can get a few odds and ends tied up. Tonight I'm heading to a craft type night where we are doing stencils with paint on a decorative type pillow. I am hoping they have some kind of "Friend" saying so that I can give it to my BFF for Christmas.
B - protein shake
S - dry roasted almonds
L - homemade potato/carrot soup with bacon
S - few slices of shaved turkey
D - eggs, turkey sausage
S - likely some raw veggies/dip at the craft evening
Been a long time since i've been on this site but saw your post Fern.
I had surgery in Feb of 2018. I'm basically at the point where I have gotten my 20 Lb bounce back from my lowest but I also know that if I get back into the gym again and make a change or two, I'll lose a bit more. Still my life is so much better now than the place I was at when I was 404Lbs.
I just wanted to reiterate what SweetRide1 was saying to you. I definitely recall an approximate 3 month stall in my weight loss. As she said to you, we are all different and all I can do is reinforce that what you are doing is not the cause. It's your Body taking a breather. Hang with it, The loss will start again.
Take care, You made the right choice.
A gift certificate for a massage. Unless she hates being touched. Or can be embarrassed to undress to get a massage.
Any gift certificate IMO. Amazon has so many different things that a post op can get including protein powders, vitamins, clothes, etc.
I used a second hand stores to get majority of my clothes. But personal items I had to buy brand new and replace a few times.

I echo the idea of a Ninja Blender depending how much you want to spend. I use mine every day!!
I would also say that my instant pot and food scale are both things I've come to depend on since having surgery. If you know what flavors she enjoys, then maybe even some Torani sugar-free syrups which you can order on Amazon.
My final suggestion would be manicure or pedicure gift certificate so that she can "escape" all of the thoughts of food when she is very restricted on what she can eat.
Happy shopping
Thank you Kathy.
Sort of nervous moving onto the next phase of this journey - maintaining; but so far feel so positive - I just need to keep tracking my food intake and upping my calories until I find what works for me.
Sunny
Thank you for your response.
I did my one year follow up and Dietician seemed surprised I was only eating 850 calories, which surprised me that she was surprised; kind of weird - as that was what I was told to eat around and to get 80 grams of protein in; she would not specify how much more I should be eating but when I pressed for a range she said 1200-1400 and up protein to 90 if possible - so sounds like what you are eating; basically the take away was to stop losing anymore weight and work on maintaining now;
I just need to adjust my mind set to start eating more; I've been accepted into a 6 week tele health over the phone therapy to stay on track, so hope that will help me get my head around eating more (but not going over); I will just continue to log everyday my food intake - that should keep me on track.
Congrats on your continued maintaining of your weight loss - amazing!
Sunny
They will most likely want you to increase your calories and change up your macros a bit.
I'll be 2 years out January 16th and maintaining a 155 lb loss on between 1,200 to 1,400 calories per day.
You just continue eating the way you have been instructed and add some calories back.
Congratulations on your success.
