Now that I've had the little nuggets I would like to work towards skin removal surgery. I will have to work up the nerve and lose the regain first.
Also, I don't want to sound like I'm bragging about being outside. Technically I'm on an unpaid maternity leave from school. So in terms of that not a lot changed for me for the shutdown since I was already home. I've been discussing extending my leave with my supervisor because of Covid.
That was supposed to say scarlet runner beans not rubber lol. My phone must have changed it ;) I will post pics if they bloom. I have them tied around our gazebo post -- it's funny because we have the gazebo frame but the canopy ripped a couple years ago and I can't find a replacement. So it's not really a gazebo lol
Happy Friday!
I wish I could say that my day was all outdoors yesterday but unfortunately I had to work. The day went fairly quick so I shouldn't complain. The weather looks decent for the weekend so I plan on doing some major yard cleanup and get some good walking in.
Awwww I bet LN1 had fun doing her outdoor art. I miss those days! Sorry to hear you are having pain issues though, it's uncomfortable enough without adding 2 tiny tots to the mix. I hope it improves and you can get in to see your surgeon ASAP.
QOTD: Complication free so far. I do have extreme loose skin which gives me some issues but I just got approved to see a plastic surgeon for a consult the week everything shut down so haven't even been able to contact him. That's minor in the scope of things.
B - protein shake
S - skipping since the almond milk is making my shake so filling
L - boiled egg, turkey kielbasa
S - lemon blueberry yogurt pie
D - rosemary-garlic haddock, tossed salad
S - turkey pepperettes

I don't think I've ever seen those,, you will have to post a picture if they do well. :)
Good morning :)
Yesterday was so beautiful we spent a ton of time outside. I introduced LN1 to the joys of sidewalk chalk. Our back patio is now a work of art ;)
I have been having pain issues for a while that the surgeon thinks might be gallbladder. We've been waiting due to the shutdown but I think it might be getting worse.
QOTD: have you had any complications or side effects from surgery? Both times I was pregnant I developed a marginal ulcer and now I have the possible gallbladder thing, but otherwise it has been pretty standard so far.
Post-op five years and three months.
Breakfast 1 - nut bar
Breakfast 2 - protein popsicles
Snack - Greek yogurt and banana
Lunch - leftover sausage, veg
Snack - carrots and PB
Dinner - TBD maybe burgers
All water and vits.
I was up and out early yesterday for LN2s doctor's appointment :) missed posting.
QOTD: I don't know if I have a favourite garden flower but this year I'm growing scarlet rubber beans which in told have s pretty red flower. We had them when I was a kid but I only remember having fun harvesting the beans. I saw a package of seeds at the garden centre so I bought them on impulse ;)
I had a SUCCESSFUL SLEEVE bypass surgery in Feb 2019 and LOST 120 lbs. NOW I am trying to FIND a EXCELLENT PLASTIC SURGEON in Ontario covered by OHIP to PERFORM ACCESS SKIN REMOVAL. PLEASE SHARE your EXPERIENCES and GUIDANCE.
Good morning all
WOW what a storm last night...there were branche****ting walls and windows left and right but thankfully we didn't have any major damage. I was watching out the windows that face west and decided I better head for the middle part of the house when debris came crashing into the back side of the house. This weekends cardio will be yard clean up.
QOTD: What is your favorite garden flower? I enjoy hydrangeas because they give such a big pop of colour with the huge blooms. I have some carpet roses that should do well this year,,, they were only planted a year ago so are still establishing themselves.
B - protein shake
S - none (I used unsweetened almond milk in my shake and I'm still stuffed)
L - turkey kielbasa, cheese, raw veggies
S - boiled egg
D - haddock, garden salad
S - greek yogurt with granola

Yesterday was a write-off ,,,, CRAZY Monday!
QOTD: Swing would be my preference too for the exact same reasons. I always felt a bit worried the chains would give out on the swing too though, so the mental part of being overweight as a kid is very restricting. My favorite playground equipment were the 2 spinning ones,,,,,,,, one you sat in and used a wheel in the middle to make it spin (the teacup) and the other took a few people to get in motion and then we'd all jump on. Probably those are banned from playgrounds now!
