Topic: Breakfast ideas to grab and go

Hello All.

Any breakfast ideas to share? My main choices are as follows, but always looking for some new ideas:

  • Overnight oatmeal with Stevia/or sugar free maple syrup (sometimes throw in 2 raspberries - yum!)
  • hard boiled egg with a sugar free yogurt
  • WW English muffin (good protein in it) with 1 tbsp. peanut butter and 1 tsp sugar free jam (1/2 for breakfast, 1/2 for morning break)
  • Sugar free, 5 gr protein bread with egg and cheese (my Sat morning treat while reading a book)
  • PC protein pancakes with sugar free syrup or sugar free jam
  • 1/2 hour after eating, I enjoy a large decaf coffee - now that was hard getting use to, not eating and drinking my coffee at same time!

Have a great week!

Sunny

I had to chew it really thoroughly. And be sure it's moist.

Hi Jess! Congratulations!

I have a friend who had surgery a year ago and she was having problems with meat. She had come over to visit me and I made her something my grandmother used to make for me when I was little. I thought it would be easier for her. And she lived it and ate that for a while! In my country we call it salpicón. There's more ingredients you can add but I kept it simple for her. We use eye of round meat. Cut it into medium sized cubes and boil it. Add a lil salt while it's boiling. Once I finish boiling it I put the chunks of boiled meat in the bullet(or whatever you use). Once you finish that put it in a bowl or Tupperware and add freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste and add a lil more salt to taste. It sounds really simple but you will be surprised at the taste! And bonus, you can use the broth from boiling the meat, just strain & you get alot out of it. It's meant to be eaten cold and lasts a few days refrigerated. Because the meat is finer than ground beef it will not be too hard on your stomach. Let me know if you decide to try it. Hope it helps. Good luck!

people are all across the board with this. I lost almost none. All I noticed was a few extra strands in my comb from about months 6-12. I never would have noticed otherwise, and neither did anyone else.

No, I don't want the bug lol. You can keep it. I will drop it at the door.

And that sounds like a good idea :) next weekend I think we are doing an open house so we have to all leave the house. Hopefully it isn't too cold.

Don't bring chicken broth unless you want this bug.

Putting a house up for sale is stressful. You feel it has to look magazine perfect all the time. Sometimes it's best to go out for coffee with a friend once it's staged and let the agent do their thing, lol, hint, hint.

I had ground beef without issue. I made shepherd's pie and used cauliflower mash on top, added a little gravy and it was fine. I also ate meatballs with no issue. Just make sure it isn't dry.

Should I bring you some chicken broth??

I'm painting our kitchen today. I do not love painting walls. I don't even love the colour (light grey) we are using but it's what everyone else wants. It's the same colour as our living room, which I love... But I love it in that room, not the whole main floor. Whatever we do has to be done by Tuesday as that is when the photographer is coming.

Post-op three years and ten months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - protein bar (darn you painting taking up my eating time)

Lunch - burger with cheese and bacon

Snack - Greek yogurt with blueberries

Dinner - tbd. My mom is coming for a week to help watch the little nugget so we can get as much house stuff done as possible.

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.
