Good afternoon everyone. I'm still sick so taking it easy today. Lots and lots of rest.
QOTD: Are you starting to get the winter blues? I've only been back a few weeks and this freezing rain nonsense has me longing for spring. That varmit better live up to his word and provide an early spring, or there will be a trip to Wiarton to "deal with him".
The eats today at 4 years post op and still sick are:
B. Coffee, coffee, coffee - all decaf
S. Iced protein coffee
L. Egg Roll in a Bowl - homemade (no noodles or rice)
D. Cabbage roll in a Bowl - homemade (no rice)
S. Something warm, low-carb, and comforting to drink before bed.
Have a great day everyone.

You might try contacting the Ontario Bariatric Network and see if they can provide some guidance on who to contact in your province. It is doubtful that you would be covered in Ontario. Good luck.

Thank you Elizabeth! I have allergies and have the sniffles alot. I tried the nose pillows before , I think I tried all the masks they had lol....and this one was the one I did the want but worked best because I would open my mouth and his one cover my nose and mouth. Day 4 today of finally sleeping with it! We are almost there!
I have an AirFit F20 and the reason is because I need to be able to open my mouth and I suffer from environment allergies and sniffling alot. I tried the nose pillows. I'm taking the sleeping pills and today is my fourth day finally sleeping with it. I was so hapoy the first day when I woke up and the mask was still on lol I had fallen asleep once with it and woke up without it lol...I'm finally on the right track thank God. The thought of having my surgery cancelled scared me.

Hi there,
I'm from Manitoba. I was sleeved 7 yrs ago Feb 2012 in Richmond, BC but due to my unresolved medical issues including Sleep Apnea, Hypertension. Oh, not to mention that Post surgery I developed GERD and was recently diagnosed with Severe Osteoarthritis of the spine. Now today with my weight at 275lbs, I am still not at goal(135lbs to go) and in far too great pain & discomfort. I need to consider a revision to Bypass or a Conversion to the full DS surgery.
Don't get me wrong, my sleeve has been the best to me since I was 429 lbs on my surgery day with my highest over 500lbs and barely living(my lowest at 247lbs). Yes, I have regained (30lbs so far). With my spine in such condition, I simply cannot afford the lbs. I've had enough of the excruciating pain and all the medication that I'm on. I have tried "Rebooting my Sleeve" to no avail. So it's just not enough anymore..
Out of Country/Self-Paying is out of the question.
What are my options? Is Revision even an option for me? Where do I start? I've heard Alberta has a Revision Program, is this true? I'm aware that Ontario does the DS Surgery but is that only for ON residents? If not, who do I contact?
Thank you in advance
I got the machine that auto adjusts the pressure - ResMed for Her Airsense 10 - it was covered by OHIP, just had to cover the mask myself.
Good luck.
Hello, who was you dietitian if I may ask. I had a terrible experience with one of the dietitian who made me feel like I would totally fail no matter what . It was very discouraging .
Thorbellina would never snot on me because she is brilliant.
