Hi !! I had mine done 2 years ago by Dr. Ma who is located in Waterloo. She is awesome. Did you get approval yet from OHIP?
Weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise. If you can get a grip on the diet, the weight will start to come off. Get some weight off and you will be able to move better. Easier said than done I know.
In the interim, there's always aquafit. Aerobics done in a pool. It helps get you moving without the stress on your joints. If walking causes you pain, this may be the thing for you.
Don't be embarrassed. We are all here because we need to lose weight and I will bet that a good many of us were not active prior to surgery.
Good Luck.

There are numerous plastic surgeons in the Toronto Area. One is Dr. Chivers and another place is in Vaughan called Usculpt.
There's a Facebook Group called Ontario,Canada Plastic Surgery. Tons of good stuff, recommendations and information in this Group.

So this is Kind of embarrassing to ask and tell, but it's getting more painful to walk. I went to see the dietician and she asked me why I went up 10lbs. I was embarrassed and made up some lame excuse. I am going back in to see her in a couple weeks and she wants to see me with some weight loss before I get sent to the surgeon. I have been fixing my diet but I'm becoming more and more sedate in my walking. I have always been a big guy, but I could always move and be active. But now after a block my legs are screaming for mercy . Any thoughts?
I loved umberto's. The owners retired and moved to Honduras I believe. They built a home there.
They used to be further south on 24 which is now a doctor's office. I think the last location is possibly an Indian restaurant now.
That's the place Umberto's. I never went there but DH did. Didn't they close down and there is a Shopper's there now? I have been to Gator's tail though, and had a really good burger pre-op. The gator I had was an appetizer at a restaurant on Queen St. in Toronto. I think I was tipsy for that too, lol.

Umberto's? They used to have things like kangaroo and emu.
The is also gators tail -- which surprisingly serves alligator ;) lol
Hope the pup feels better soon. My fur baby has been off his game for the past few days.
The Little Nugget is a trooper, 9 houses in 2 days.
There used to be a restaurant in Cambridge that served all kinds of different meat. My husband ate there for a work event.

Stick with the CPAP ... it is worth it. Mine has a button that looks like a sideways triangle on it ... it ramps up the pressure ... ie., starts out lower and slowly increases to the proper pressure. It makes the initial breathing easier when you're tense and as you are falling asleep, you don't realize the pressure is increasing. Focus on relaxing as you breath out and let the heaviness of your relaxed chest push out the air ... try to focus on the fact that you aren't covered by it ... your eyes are free, etc. ... try relaxing by focusing from your toes up ... relax the toes first, then feet, then calves, etc. ... helped me.
Good luck.

Good afternoon :)
We had a rough night so we went back to bed. Puppy 1 has an infected cyst on her neck so we are going to the vet this afternoon. We were supposed to go out for lunch today with my grandmother but decided to go a different day instead.
On the weekend we saw nine houses. The little nugget was a trooper. She loves ceiling fans ;)
QOTD: I'm not an adventurous eater. When I was about 15 we went to a restaurant that served all kinds of wild game. I actually cried because I didn't like the food. What a little drama queen ;) lol.
