Hello My Weight loss Friends

Was wondering if anyone knew or did pay to get a private room at st. Joe's ? I am having my surgery on Jan 25th and also are spouses allowed to stay with you all the time? My husband will be with me and I would like him to stay with me.

Thanks in advanced. !

I tried to get a private room but none were available ? I stayed in a semi private room with an elderly woman (not a bariatric patient) and I was shocked when I asked if my husband could stay and they let him! I think because I was close to the window and he was "tucked in the corner". I also had an amazing nurse, so I'm sure that helped. The down side was he had to sleep in a chair, and not one that pulled out into a "bed". It was pretty awful for him.

Thanks so much for letting me know. That does sound pretty awful for your husband that is one great husband .

I could have had a private room but again, one wasn't available. I had semi private.

I think you can do pretty much what you like these days so long as your visitors aren't causing trouble. Your roommate may object though.

I had great nurses too. They were awesome.
