it does suck, but after 4 days my body gave in and accepted it. Lots of water and rest ... also at night i had a cup of hot broth as a treat and before you know it, its over. I was fortunate in week two i had a boost of energy. just keep busy and do no****ch any cooking programs.

Good luck, you almost there.

Herbal tea! When I got the grumbly tummy, a hot cup of mint herbal tea really helped me.

Opti sucked big time, but like everyone else has said, it really does get better after a few days. You can do it!

The first two days of Opti were difficult for me. I was hangry!! But after that, ketosis set in, and it got easier and easier, to the point where even a cup of broth was too filling to add in. Who woulda thought?! Lol

I spaced out my Opti every 4 hours: 9 am, 1 pm, 5 pm and 9 pm. It was a great schedule for me.

You got this!!

Thank you everyone.

Like Oneatatime, I space my shakes out as well, my last one is at 8:30 pm. I'll try adding herbal teas because I'm one and half weeks into this diet and my stomach is still grumbling. On a positive note this means that I'm half way through.

Spacing them out is key!! Also adding flavor to them! I am on day 16/21, surgery is on April 17th.

Like most have said the first couple of days were rough, but then I started adding sugar/calorie free syrup to my shakes and I love them!

I don't mind the chocolate on its own but the vanilla is barely tolerable. I have only had 3 servings of jello besides the shakes and I am doing well!

Winner's & Home Sense carry Jordan's Skinny Syrup's in different flavors, right now I am using the Caramel, Mint Chocolate & Raspberry...all three flavors go great with both the chocolate & vanilla shakes!

Good Luck!!!
