April 10th Surgery
It's getting so close now and I'm getting excited and nervous. My pre op diet is really good. I'm enjoying having food instead of opti.
I'm not afraid of chickening out because I've waited far too long and worked too hard to walk away now. Although any words of advice from the vets would be great.
I'm packed and ready for Tuesday. I'm having my band removed and revised to rny. If all goes well I'll be out and ready to come home on Wednesday. (It doesn't seem like enough time to recover but whatever.)
Does anyone know what I can expect in the hospital and for the next couple of days. I'm really worried about the pain. What do they give for pain at Twh? How often do you get it? What time is discharge at? I have so many questions.
I've been reading others posts and I have a lot of info already. But I still have questions. I'll post more when they come to me. I know this is the best place for honest answers with no bs.

Wishing you the very best with your upcoming surgery.
I had my surgery in Guelph, I had a bit of dry heaving when I got to my room, but it settled after I had something for nausea, my pain went unnoticed and was only taking extra strength Tylenol by the second day. Everyone recovers differently, I hope you do well!
Thank you . I'm hoping to only have minimal pain. Taking extra strength Tylenol after the second day is awesome.
