Oatmeal...?
yeah, mine was pretty specific that consistency of food had to pass through a sieve in full liquids.

Huh! You're manual is more extensive than mine, it literally just says oatmeal. Also note the huge difference in time to eat! Thanks for showing me that it can include steel cut, I was wondering if I'd already gone "off plan".

Any reason you can't put the dry oats in a ninja blender first and make a powder? Probably be like a baby food consistency once cooked but you can make it as runny as you want and there wouldn't be larger pieces to deal with.... I've also heard of people blending up flax seeds and sprinkling the ground up powder on salads and in soups for a hit of fibre too.
Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes.

Thanks that's a great idea! Will try that. I added caramel premier protein and it was a nice treat since I cannot add sugar. Thanks for the suggestion, I was worried about whether I should try it again or not.

I've had oatmeal during my full fluids stage. I used 1/4 cup quick oats and used heated soy milk, and 15g or an unflavored protein powder for mine. I make it slightly on the liquid side because eating so slow, it can be pretty thick by the time I'm done. You can have steel cut as well, or if you would like try Cream of wheat as it is not as textured as oatmeal.
