Got my surgery date!!!! February 26th :) :) So excited. Trying to think of everything I need to get organized and put it all together.

Referral: May 2017 Orientation: June 5/17 Nurse: Aug. 17/17 Doctor/Dietician/SW finished by Dec. 11/17 Surgical Ed. Class: Dec. 18/17 Surgeon: Jan. 9/18 Surgery: February 26, 2018!!

That is GREAT! My surgery was February 21, 2017 - you are in for an amazing journey - the great thing is you will be feeling so much better about your self at summer time ... I remember thinking that it was the first summer I could ever remember that I was positive about my body and the changes and not "hiding" behind a "moo-moo". When do you start Opti?

I summer so am really looking forward to both being more recovered and feeling good as well as being a bit smaller! I may have a bit more hangy skin by then but I don't care...skin or no skin I'm going to the beach. I start opti on February 5th, so three weeks.

Gee, I'm having my surgery same day but at Toronto Western, start Optifast on Feb. 5 and have my preop on the 6th. I've been waiting a long time since my August 2016 referral, but I'm hoping for better health once I get past this.

Look at us...surgery day twins! I am a little nervous about starting optifast on Monday, fingers crossed it is not too bad. I have my pre-op Monday as well so will be interesting to have that last appointment before surgery. Sorry for not replying sooner, I have been away on holidays.
